1909 Wolsely Siddeley

Our 1909 Wolsely Siddeley Rio Des Belges Tourer.

The creator of the Wolsely was actually an Aussie who invented the shearing machine he made his first car the Wolsely Autocar in 1899  and then was joined by Siddeley in 1905 and they made extremely fine & rare motor cars for the elite up until 1910 when Siddeley left and went to the Whitworth Engineering Company.

Our 1909 version is one of Australia’s favourite Veteran Cars many a bride referring to it as a horse & carriage without the horses it is to our knowledge the oldest wedding car in Australia and we are proud to have it at Automobiles Of Yesteryear.
